How wonderfully God revealed Himself to the Participants of Kairos Inside Women’s Short Course #5, answering the faith prayers of so many.
From the morning of Day one, through to the Closing Ceremony, the women who attended were open & searching. They were sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s presence in the centre from the beginning. Coming in on Tuesday morning saying – we can feel the love & joy in these rooms. It is NOT out there in the yard, but there was something palpable & present that they were hungry for & could feel.
To the questions, “Why did you come, what do you hope to get out of Kairos?” so many answered, “We want to make a change; We want to learn about God”. They were attentive right from the start. Pens in hands & notebooks ready. Keen to listen & learn.
It was amazing to watch the lights come on throughout the talks & meditations as stories unfolded & when it was explained how that applied to each of them, you could see their response in the realisation that they had to “DO” something with what they were hearing & learning. It meant personal application, real change in how they processed & thought about things. They were hungry & they were being fed at the same time.
God was faithful in so many ways going ahead of us & opening doors that seemed to close before us. Our attending Chaplain & Officers going the extra mile to overcome so many obstacles. The ladies each received around 70 letters. I actually had the privilege of being present when the ladies received their bag of letters. It was amazing. Their eyes lit up & there were tears of joy – One lady standing up holding her bag in the air & saying “This is a bag full of Love”.

Please keep all of the ladies in your prayers over the coming weeks, it is difficult returning back to normal life inside after such a week.
- Pray that the seeds planted may reach good soil and bear much fruit for His Glory.
- Pray that they will be protected from negativity that may come their way.
- May the Holy Spirit bring to mind their words and truths that they heard this week.
- May they pick up a Bible and read God’s Word for themselves.
