Kairos Prison Ministry Australia National Conference

The KPMA National Conference was held in August at the Holiday Inn Sydney Airport. Below is an extract of a letter from Col Stiller, Chair of the KPMA Board to our Kairos family:

The Work of the Holy Spirit – John 14:26:

“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

This was one of the texts that underpinned the theme of the National Conference this year: “Revival”.

There were 90 representatives in attendance and we had a full program of “learning, sharing and worshipping” in between eating and sleeping.

We were reminded that the Lord and Giver of Life, the Holy Spirit, who brought life to humankind can and will bring to life the ministry that is Kairos. Revival then is His domain and we are His instruments.

For revival to continue in Kairos, there needs to be a two-step process:

  1. A personal revival where we each take stock and evaluate our own spirituality, and thereby have a personal revival with God, and,
  2. A “team” revival where we come together in unity in whatever facet of the ministry it is: Program teams, Regional Committee teams, State Council teams and the Board team. We come together in unity that only comes from Christ.

I encourage you to be a part of the Revival.

Col Stiller
Chair
