Kairos was given the opportunity to be part of the Gospel Service at the Parkes Elvis Festival held on the 14th January 2024. Chief Operating Office Deb Poulton and a small team that included Sue Hodges, Teresa Millynn and Jon Hale travelled to Parkes to form part of a question and answer panel. Former KI Graduate Ace gave an inspirational testimony of his experience with Kairos and his life as a Christian which was well received by the congregation of around 7,500 attendees!
We were also able to show the new KO Guest Recruitment film which is a wonderful excerpt of a testimony from a couple who have both experienced the life changing impact of Kairos Inside and Kairos Outside.
The service was co led by Pastor James Leach and Reverend Ben Mackay and supported by Parkes Mayor Neil Westcott. The service was presented by Parkes Ministers’ Association and we thank them for the opportunity to be a part of this great event. The event raised $4,150 towards Kairos work in the Region.
