What a fitting way to end our series of visits to Central West NSW.
Pastor James Leach was instrumental in organising our Kairos team to attend and present at the Elvis Gospel Service at the beginning of the year. On Sunday 18 August we were honoured to be invited to address his Lutheran congregation. They had watched our Kairos videos and were keen to learn more. We shared a 45 minute question and answer session before they farewelled us.
All of the churches in Forbes and Parkes have welcomed us. Father Barry from Holy Family Parkes blessed us at the start of our series of visits and invited us to address his congregations at both the Saturday night and Sunday morning services during our final visit.
We had the pleasure of staying with Ian and Marion Unger at Avarest in Parkes every time we visited the area. The welcome and hospitality were very much appreciated.
