In July 2026, KPMA Chair Colin Stiller, Chief Operating Officer Deborah Poulton and Deputy Chair Tony Hoban were guests at Kairos Prison Ministry International Conference celebrating 50 years of ministry! It was a great time of learning, networking and fellowship with Kairos volunteers from around the United States, South Africa, Northern Ireland and South America. The team have brought back information and resources to help us in our work here in Australia.
One of the 6 founders of Kairos Prison Ministry International was Cleve Bell. He was a key speaker at the event in Orlando, Florida, on Saturday night to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Kairos commencing as an organisation in 1976. Cleve is pictured here, centre, with Kairos Prison Ministry Australia Chair, Colin Stiller, right, and Deputy Chair, Tony Hoban, left.
Colin and Deb had the opportunity to reconnect with a volunteer they had met two years previously in Louisville Kentucky. Davoud was from Iran but did his high school study in Australia before immigrating to America. He is active in his Kairos community doing promotion and recruitment after spending many years participating in delivering short courses.
Here are a collection of the fellow volunteers from around the world we were privileged to meet and spend time with. Also, 2 impactful testimonies from Kairos Inside and Kairos Outside.
